QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. The ability to follow proper payroll and key procedures.
2. The ability to verify the attendant staff is present.
3. The ability to read and update the daily log and communicate relevant information to the staff.
4. The ability to operate the computer, copier, typewriter and credit card machines.
5. The ability to utilize the trace file, cashier sheets and handle the daily accounting.
6. The ability to process outgoing mail.
7. The ability to process all charges.
8. The ability to set up and handle gift certificates.
9. The ability to requisition and stock office supplies for the desk.
10. The ability to copy and distribute materials.
11. The ability to provide assistance to guests and members about the retail merchandise.
12. The ability to utilize the telephones according to Four Seasons standards.
13. The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
14. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS ANALYSIS
Subtask 1: Work the desk; answer phones; public contact
Position: * Stand or sit behind desk (standing is preferred)
* Walking
* Hook grip to answer phone
Force: 0 lbs.
Repetitions: Standing/walking: 30-35 minutes per hour
Sitting: as needed depending on standing tolerance
Sensory: Good speech and hearing required to handle phones and communicate with guests
Subtask 2: Stock supplies in locker room
General cleanliness
Position: * Standing/walking
* Forward bend through full range squatting, kneeling, half-kneeling for cleaning
* Lifting towels through full range
* Carry towels and other items such as gallon jugs of shampoo
* Overhead reaching
Forces: bag of towels: 40-50 lbs.
gallon jugs of shampoo: 7 1/2 lbs.
Repetitions: * Stocking takes place 2 x day and involves:
5-10 bags of towels per day (300-400 in all)
5-10 gallon jugs of shampoo per day
* General cleaning (picking up dirty towels, etc.) is frequent and ongoing all day
