JOB SUMMARY
Strategically lead the sales function of the Oncology portfolio to achieve business objectives while directly executing key marketing initiatives. Develop brand strategies and solutions to enhance customer experience and portfolio performance. Lead the sales team to ensure excellence in execution and delivery of business results. Drive self and team improvement through a solid development plan and act as a leader within the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate TEAM LILLY expectations (Innovate, Include, Accelerate, Deliver)
- Lead cross-functional efforts (Corporate Affairs, Regulatory and Medical) to develop business strategies (e.g. life-cycle planning, pricing strategy, reimbursement expansion etc.) and achieve planned growth opportunities for current and pipeline products
- Execute and deliver to create positive customer experiences and inspire sales team to be committed to serving Lilly’s customers so that “they feel they are genuinely cared for, able to trust us, and we are easy to work with.”
- Develop engaged employees and help sales team identify skill and performance gaps and uncover new insights by asking good questions.
- Evaluate direct reports’ performance against agreed goals & standards, provide ongoing coaching for improved performance and self-development
- Unify all cross functional brand and sales teams to reach brand objectives
- Implement the plan, monitor execution and results, and adapt when needed to accomplish business objectives.
- Be accountable for sales forecasts, long range plans and operating budget for brands within responsibility area
- Routinely analyze market research, field visits reviews, customer feedback, sales results & spending to drive and refine marketing channels and solutions
- Develop ongoing relationships with key Thought-Leaders, patient support groups and other healthcare organizations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and implemented
- Embrace multichannel approach and innovative solutions for brands under responsibility.
- Work closely and support relevant cross functional teams to ensure recruitment of right candidates to create high performing team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or above
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in both sales & marketing functions in a pharmaceutical company,
- Strong pharmaceutical understanding of therapeutic areas, treatment principles, marketing aspects of bringing a brand to market and life cycle management is required.
- Experience in Oncology and/or Hematology therapeutic areas is preferred.
