Key responsibilities

Become part of an innovative team in the field of automation and control technology and support exciting greenfield and retrofit projects from the engineering phase through to successful commissioning. Look forward to diverse national and international projects, a high degree of personal responsibility, and close collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams in a technically demanding environment.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Execution of engineering and commissioning activities for automation projects (DCS/HSI) in greenfield and retrofit environments

  • Implementation of software and hardware concepts in accordance with customer specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements

  • Commissioning of plants and systems both domestically and internationally in cooperation with customers, partners, and internal teams

  • Technical coordination with customers as well as coordination of project and commissioning activities

  • Optimization of system functions and adaptation of planning to project-specific requirements

  • Support and supervision of acceptance tests, functional tests, and trial operations

  • Monitoring of project progress, schedules, and costs, including reporting to project management

Qualifications for the role

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • Experience in the automation of industrial plants, ideally in the field of power plant control systems

  • Willingness to perform service and commissioning assignments at customer sites

  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • High willingness to travel

  • Very good German and good English language skills
