Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative II and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
In this role, you'll generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. You'll promote and sell CMD chromatography consumables and CAD NanoDrop instruments, utilizing consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions.
Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships through our CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by promoting and selling CMD chromatography consumables and CAD NanoDrop instruments through telephone, email, Enterprise WeChat, Salesforce, and other digital engagement channels.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding sales within existing customer accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical, and industrial markets, utilizing consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage the sales process from opportunity generation through quotation, follow-up, negotiation, order closure, and post-sales support while maintaining accurate customer and pipeline information in Salesforce and CMS.
- Drive consumables pull-through opportunities and support NanoDrop instrument adoption through effective customer engagement and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with Field Sales, Technical Support, Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer experience, while providing regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and customer feedback to support business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related scientific disciplines.
- 2+ years of sales and/or laboratory research experience; experience in life sciences, scientific instruments, or laboratory consumables is preferred.
- Strong communication, customer engagement, and consultative selling skills.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
