Senior Product Manager - International (IEC) Metering

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager, IEC C&I – Grid Edge to own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle execution of Itron’s next‑generation IEC Commercial & Industrial electricity metering solutions. You will act as the primary business owner for your portfolio—setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery from concept through end‑of‑life.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy and multi‑year roadmaps for IEC C&I metering and Grid Edge solutions, informed by market trends, customer insights, and business objectives.

• Own portfolio‑level decisions, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and commercial performance.

• Translate customer and market needs into clear, prioritized product requirements for engineering and cross‑functional teams.

• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and customer support to ensure successful product development and launches.

• Manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring products meet quality, cost, performance, and profitability targets.

• Engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders to gather feedback, validate solutions, and represent Itron at trade shows and industry events.

• Monitor product performance and KPIs, using data‑driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

• Support internal and external training initiatives to ensure successful adoption of products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum of 4 years of IEC electricity metering experience in sales, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline.

• Strong problem-solving ability with the desire to take ownership of issues and follow through until resolution

• Team player with proven ability to work effectively with business units,

• Effective communication and presentation skills with fluency in English

Nice to have

• 3+ years of product management experience within electrical metering or adjacent smart grid technologies.

• Experience with firmware is beneficial but not required

Depending on your experience, this role is expected to offer between 25,000,000 HUF and 32,000,000 HUF annually, plus eligibility for an individual bonus of up to 15% of annual salary. We review compensation regularly to stay competitive in the market.
