Terms of Service

Welcome to Aplyr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aplyr platform and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Aplyr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aplyr, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aplyr.
2. Description of Service
Aplyr is a job search automation platform that helps users find, track, and apply to job opportunities. The Service includes:
- Job search and discovery across multiple job boards and ATS platforms.
- Application tracking and pipeline management.
- Auto-fill of job application forms using your stored profile data via browser automation.
- Automated submission of job applications on your behalf, with your authorization.
- AI-powered job matching, resume tailoring, and application suggestions.
- Gmail integration to scan for job application confirmation emails and status updates.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use Aplyr.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. User Authorization
By using Aplyr's auto-fill and auto-submit features, you explicitly authorize Aplyr to submit job applications to third-party employers and job boards on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for reviewing all auto-filled information before authorizing submission.
- Applications submitted through Aplyr are legally attributable to you.
- You should verify that the information in each application is accurate and complete before it is submitted.
5. Gmail Integration
If you choose to connect your Gmail account, you grant Aplyr read-only access to your email. Aplyr uses this access exclusively to scan for job-related emails (application confirmations, interview invitations, status updates) and does not read, store, or process emails unrelated to job applications. Our use of Gmail data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Google API Limited Use Disclosure for details.
6. AI-Powered Features
Aplyr uses artificial intelligence to provide job matching, resume tailoring, and application auto-fill features. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before submission.
- Aplyr does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated recommendations or that they will result in job placement.
- AI features are provided as tools to assist your job search, not as professional career advice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Aplyr to:
- Submit fake, fraudulent, or misleading job applications.
- Apply using a false identity or misrepresent your qualifications.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service for unauthorized purposes.
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls.
- Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service beyond the features we explicitly provide.
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party terms of service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
8. Intellectual Property
Aplyr and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aplyr and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all personal data and content you provide to the Service, including your resume, work history, and profile information. By using the Service, you grant Aplyr a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
9. Third-Party Services
Aplyr interacts with third-party job boards and applicant tracking systems (ATS), including but not limited to Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and others. You acknowledge that:
- Aplyr is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party ATS or job board.
- Third-party platforms may block, reject, or flag automated submissions at their discretion.
- Aplyr is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
- Your use of third-party platforms through Aplyr is also subject to those platforms' respective terms of service.
10. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Aplyr does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or any specific outcome from using the Service.
- Aplyr is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information in auto-filled applications.
- Aplyr is not an employment agency, staffing firm, or recruiter.
- In no event shall Aplyr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Aplyr's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Aplyr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aplyr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) applications submitted through your account, or (d) claims by employers, job boards, or other third parties related to your use of the Service.
12. Subscription and Payments
Aplyr may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as specified at the time of purchase. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Specific subscription terms, including pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation policies, are presented at the point of purchase and form part of these Terms.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Aplyr may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
