The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Leader AI, you will play a critical role in advancing enterprise AI initiatives, with a primary focus on supporting the development, deployment, and operationalization of AI‑enabled capabilities across the organization. This includes cross‑functional coordination, delivery planning, and process enablement to drive successful execution of key AI programs.
In addition, the role includes project management and reporting responsibilities for Braze in‑app messaging initiatives, supporting customer engagement programs through structured execution, performance tracking, and stakeholder communication.
This role requires strong collaboration across technical, commercial, analytics, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of complex, cross‑functional programs in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities. This is an onsite role in Alameda, CA.
What You’ll Work On
Lead and coordinate end-to-end project planning and execution for AI-driven initiatives, including scope definition, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource alignment.
Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, IT, Analytics, Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, and other stakeholders to enable successful design, development, and deployment of AI solutions.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment to prioritize AI initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and resource availability.
Establish and maintain project governance, risk management, and issue resolution practices for AI programs.
Drive process improvements, documentation standards, and best practices to support scalable and repeatable AI delivery.
Support change management, stakeholder communication, and adoption planning for AI-enabled tools and workflows.
Track progress, risks, and outcomes for AI initiatives, providing clear status updates and executive-ready reporting.
Manage project planning and execution for Braze in‑app messaging initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-team coordination.
Partner with Marketing, Customer Engagement, and Analytics teams to support campaign setup, deployment, and operational readiness.
Coordinate reporting and performance tracking for in‑app messaging, ensuring insights are communicated clearly to stakeholders.
Support segmentation, personalization, and testing initiatives by aligning project execution with data and analytics capabilities.
Identify process optimizations and documentation needs to improve efficiency and consistency in Braze execution.
Monitor Braze campaign effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
Has successfully led several high complexity projects from beginning to end.
Hands-on experience partnering with Data Science and Engineering teams on AI/ML initiatives, with working knowledge of model development workflows, data pipelines.
Demonstrated expertise in PM tools and processes
May be required to travel up to 20%.
