CASUAL ASSISTANT FACILITIES MANAGER

Gladstone, QLD - 1 Day Per Week

 

JLL is seeking a talented and reliable Casual Assistant Facilities Manager to join our dynamic FM team for a dedicated 1-day-per-week position in Gladstone, QLD. This part-time role offers a consistent schedule while maintaining the flexibility of casual employment, allowing you to provide specialized facility inspection and maintenance support. You'll deliver crucial expertise while enjoying a structured work arrangement that balances professional growth with personal flexibility.

 

You will provide dedicated on-site support at our corporate client location in Gladstone on a part-time basis (1 day per week), ensuring smooth facility operations and compliance with all service level agreements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Inspections & Audits

  • Conduct regular facility inspections and maintenance including health and safety audits (visual and non-technical)

  • Perform weekly inspections of doors, ironmongery, structural elements, ceilings, finishes, and fixtures

 

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete condition audit report preparation and maintain accurate documentation

  • Review PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and reactive work order completion status

  • Ensure contractual SLA compliance for all on-site engagement activities

 

Project & Inventory Support

  • Support project coordination and space planning activities as required

  • Conduct monthly kitchen crockery audits and coordinate replacements

  • Manage minimum stock inventory levels and coordinate ordering within approved parameters

 

Emergency & Safety Coordination

  • Assist with emergency drill coordination and maintain BCP/ERP documentation

  • Work collaboratively with base building teams on structural maintenance coordination

  • Support waste segregation and disposal activities per environmental policies

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years facilities management or property maintenance experience

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

  • Experience in managing critical environments
