Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Buildings MEP team. This position will report to the Electrical Engineering Team Leader and is primarily responsible for performing electrical engineering technical work on various complex projects, mentoring staff, applying proficiency in designing, analyzing, and reviewing systems to ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.

What You Will Do:

Perform electrical engineering technical work for complex projects
Develop and modify models, plans, details, and drawings of electrical engineering systems and components according to established standards and modeling techniques.
Perform electrical design for various systems including medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, photovoltaic, battery systems, building power systems, lighting design, and low voltage systems.
Assist with technical review and provide high quality deliverables.
Perform electrical calculations including SKM analysis, arc flash, and photometric calculations (AGI or Elumtools preferred)
Interpret, define, organize, execute and coordinate engineering assignments.
Provide technical direction and support for multiple projects of considerable scope and complexity.
