Location/Division Specific Information

This role is in the Product Data Management (PDM) team in Business Operations supporting the LSG, BPG and LPG Groups.

Discover Impactful Work:

The Manager, Product Data Management, leads and manages a team of analysts responsible for curating and maintaining product master data throughout the lifecycle of the product in compliance with corporate procedures.

A day in the Life:

  • Leads and facilitates the team's work for new product introductions, changes and discontinuations through change control workflows and ensures data management quality.

  • Actively assists in fulfilment of daily work queues.

  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, and retaining talent, along with resolving conflicts professionally to ensure efficient operations.

  • Lead team workstreams for Integrations along with ERP updates.

  • Applies advanced systems knowledge to partner with other functions to address issues and communicate to other PDM leaders in a timely manner.

  • Drives team KPIs by developing and enhancing analytics to meet and exceed SKU productivity goals.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 

  • Background in Data Sciences, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related fields highly desirable.

  • Certification preferred in Product Data Analytics

Experience

  • 7-10 years of relevant and professional work experience

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience including managing and reporting to remote-based teams

  • Practical experience in product data management or data management field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience updating, managing master data, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

  • Demonstrates Regional expertise in aligning with Site Leaders and cross functional teams to ensure timely SKU creation.

  • Uses critical metrics to look for trends and opportunities and makes recommendations for process and system improvements.

  • Moves strategy to action and handles user problems to drive solutions leading to commercial success.
