Job Description
This role will be part of the Oracle COE Team for PPG. It will collaborate with business units or functional groups to clarify and communicate business requirements. This collaboration assures that we align products and services with business needs, particularly in terms of utilizing our applications. You will be a business or function specialist, providing an array of services such as business process improvement, priority-setting facilitation, project definition or design, and broker IT and contract services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute labeling projects and initiatives related to delivered products (migration projects from existing labeling software)
- Develop/maintain interfaces between the Loftware Labeling Software and PPG ERPs (Oracle R12 & SAP S/4 HANA). Including printer setup and rule creation activities
- Experience gathering requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes
- Understanding of how IT affects an organization and ability to link it to redesigned business processes
- Technical knowledge and express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
- Networks with other PPG Analysts to understand how they deploy IT solutions in other areas to solve business problems
- To develop effective working relationships across a diverse team of functional, technical, and business partners
- Detailed understanding of technical solutions available to deliver process modifications when non-standard flow is required
- Project management skills and have the ability to manage small projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, especially with systems and process orientation
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
- Comfortable working remotely using virtual means of collaborating with colleagues and managers, without close supervision
- Experience participating in IT projects and prior experience with Loftware labeling solutions would be preferred
