Job title: Associate Technical Services Engineer

Function: Technical Services

Percent of travel: 40 - 80%

Reports to: Manager, Technical Services - Russia

Job Mission / Purpose:

The Associate Technical Service Engineer is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, upgrading, installation and setting and setup of Stryker Products both in-house and in the field while adhering to all company policies, standards and procedures and accepting responsibility for the quality of the work he / she executes.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

Repairing of Company Products

  • To troubleshoot company products
  • To undertake the servicing and repair of company products to the required standards
  • To undertake the testing of company products and provide fully completed test and service reports
  • To perform upgrades on company products as required.

Support

  • To support service partners / dealers with information about the servicing or status of repair of the respective products via e-mail or phone as required.
  • To perform installation and setup for Stryker products in the field as required.

Quality System

  • To ensure all relevant repair / service information is filed in line with his / her On-Job Training.
  • To follow all procedures including but not limited to Repairing, Testing and Calibration of company products as well as to verify the calibration status of the Tools and Fixtures he / she works with.
  • To provide feedback and suggestions for improving the quality or process of the job to his manager.

Continued Professional Growth

  • To develop and deepen his relevant skills and knowledge towards the repairing of company products while making sure the knowledge is retained within the company.
  • To stay up to date on compliance and legal aspects related to his / her job on an ongoing basis.
  • To be aware of and to support continuously the development and implementation of the company quality system.

Education

Essential:

  • Completed higher technical education (electronics, electrical engineering, or medical equipment only);
  • Spoken English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher for the possibility of training abroad;

Experience

  • Previous experience in the Medical Technical Services field is an asset.

  • Competent in Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle customers professionally.
  • Computer skills / literacy.

Travel Percentage: 60%
