Building Services Manager (& QE)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of building services engineers, overseeing all electrical and mechanical processes.

• Ensure site quality control and perform witness testing and commissioning when required.

• Coordinate closely with subcontractors and clients to deliver projects to the highest technical and safety standards.

• Provide expert technical advice and guidance to contractors throughout the project.

• Share progress updates and feedback with the design team to support continuous improvement.

• acts as the named or designated qualified engineer where required for licensing, registration, or regulatory filings, including participation in engineering‑related assessments, reviews, and/or operational processes where professional input is essential.

• maintains valid self professional qualifications, registrations, and continuing professional requirements necessary for the designation, and proactively informs the Company, in advance, of any changes, updates, obligations, or risks related to such qualifications which may jeopardise the Employee to discharge his duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

• Professional qualifications such as HKIE / RPE (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire or Building Services) is essential

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in building services projects.

• Solid understanding of building services installation and statutory regulations.

• Skilled in site progress monitoring and on-site coordination with subcontractors.

• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
