Clinical Supply Specialist will plan, implement, monitor and improve company supply strategy including collaboration with Project Management, Vendor Management, DLS Leadership, Finance and vendors.
What you will do
Plan, implement and monitor study supply strategy overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity
Optimize supply levels to ensure continuity while minimizing carrying costs Control manufacturing and delivery processes
Collaborate with Project Management, Vendor Management, and DLS Leadership
Develop and maintain detailed inventories of study drug
Develop procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
Collaborate with DLS Leadership to define and implement key supply chain KPIs at study and functional levels
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you will bring to the role
Strong planning skills
Logical and systematic approach to work
Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
Negotiation and influencing skills
Business management and analytical skills IT literacy, skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic data
Understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain
Your background
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar relevant field
Contract Research Organization (CRO) required (1 year minimum)
Previous working experience in the supply chain OR clinical research area (mandatory requirement for 1-2 years of experience in any of the indicated fields)
Hands-on experience with supply chain functionality in an IRT/RTSM system is a plus
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
Critical thinker, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills and great communication skills
