Job Summary

The Vice President, CB Marketing Analytics & Technology is the enterprise leader responsible for shaping how Comcast Business leverages data, analytics, insights, and marketing technology to drive marketing strategy, execution, and performance. This role defines and leads the vision, strategy, and optimization of the data ecosystem—including the data warehouse, analytics practices, and marketing technology stack—to maximize marketing effectiveness, customer insight, and revenue growth.

Overseeing all marketing data, analytics, reporting, and insights, this leader heads the Marketing Sciences & Analytics organization as the authoritative source of truth for trusted data and actionable intelligence. The role drives advanced analytics, measurement frameworks, and market insights that inform customer acquisition and retention, offer strategy, and competitive positioning.

In parallel, this executive ensures the effectiveness and evolution of the marketing technology stack, including the CRM platform enabling scalable, data-driven marketing execution, and strong alignment with Sales.

Operating as a strategic partner to Marketing, Product, Finance, Sales, and Regional leadership, this role aligns data initiatives with business priorities, ensures effective stewardship of data resources, and establishes consistency and rigor in how performance is measured and optimized. The VP fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making, translating complex insights into clear, actionable strategies, and delivering executive-level reporting that guides strategic planning and operational improvement.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Marketing Analytics Strategy

  • Define and execute the enterprise vision and multi-year roadmap for Marketing Sciences & Analytics, aligning priorities to growth, customer, and financial objectives.
  • Translate marketing strategy into a prioritized analytics and insights agenda with clear business cases, KPIs, and measurable ROI.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CMO and senior leadership, shaping investment decisions through data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and performance forecasting.

Data Integrity, Stewardship & Governance

  • Own end-to-end data quality, integrity, and accessibility across core marketing datasets (e.g., passings, serviceability, campaign execution, pipeline, and performance metrics).
  • Establish and operationalize enterprise data governance, including standardized definitions, taxonomies, KPIs, and measurement methodologies.
  • Ensure data integrity across executive, demand, market share, and operational reporting.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and IT to ensure compliance with data governance standards and privacy regulations while safeguarding customer data.

Advanced Analytics & Market Sciences

  • Lead the design and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including segmentation, propensity modeling, competitive analysis, and marketing performance models.
  • Deliver actionable insights across market share, digital (.com) performance, demand generation, and campaign effectiveness to inform enterprise and regional strategies.
  • Evolve the organization from descriptive reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics, embedding insights into decision-making and execution.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Deliver a unified, enterprise-wide view of marketing performance across HQ and Regions, integrating data across channels, products, and customer segments.
  • Define reporting frameworks, KPIs, and operating cadence across campaign, funnel, and lead-to-sales performance.
  • Enable real-time, self-service reporting capabilities to improve speed, transparency, and accountability.
  • Ensure performance insights are clearly tied to business outcomes, including revenue, ROI, acquisition, and retention.

MarTech Strategy & Operations

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and performance of the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM, CDP, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Drive alignment between Marketing and Sales through CRM integration, lead management, and lifecycle orchestration.
  • Evaluate, implement, and scale emerging technologies, including AI-driven personalization and automation.

Leadership, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Build and lead a high-performing organization of analytics leaders, data scientists, and MarTech professionals.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, innovation, accountability, and strong business partnership.
  • Develop talent through structured career paths, capability building, and engagement in strategic initiatives.
  • Influence across a complex, matrixed organization to drive alignment, adoption, and results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Impact

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, IT, Customer Care, and Operations to create a unified customer view and enable end-to-end journey optimization.
  • Align data, analytics, and technology initiatives with enterprise priorities to enhance customer experience and lifetime value.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by embedding insights into planning, execution, and performance management.

Scope & Influence

  • Lead a centralized Marketing Sciences & Analytics function supporting both HQ and Regional teams.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of advanced analytics, including machine learning and predictive modeling, to improve decision-making and performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership on data architecture, governance, and management to ensure scalability, security, and long-term value.
  • Oversee the evolution of data visualization and KPI reporting to deliver intuitive, actionable insights.
  • Champion continuous improvement across data processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage budgets for data, analytics, and MarTech investments, ensuring alignment with business priorities and ROI.
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with external vendors, data providers, and industry experts.
  • Directly lead senior leaders and oversee teams spanning analytics, data science, performance measurement, and insights.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, market intelligence, or related fields, including enterprise-scale leadership.
  • Proven track record leading large, complex analytics organizations and influencing senior executive stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in marketing measurement, campaign analytics, performance optimization, and competitive intelligence.
  • Experience with large-scale customer data environments, including subscription-based or recurring revenue models.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data ecosystems, including data platforms, modeling, and CRM/CDP technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution, governance, and delivery.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced degree (preferred) in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
