We are actively seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team team. At Five9, we work in small teams and move fast to drive our products and business to the next level. We look for crucial skills in team members such as a problem-solving mindset and intellectual curiosity, along with comfortable integration into a deeply collaborative system that rewards impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implementation, and automation of large-scale distributed systems.
Build tools and automation that help Five9 achieve higher availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
Work with Engineering teams to deliver high quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor production and development environments to build preventive measures and provide a seamless customer experience.
Work with delivery teams on software improvements to achieve higher availability and lower MTTD.
Participate in on-call rotation.

Key Requirements:

3-5 years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS).
Private cloud experience (Openstack, VMware ESXi).
Linux (Centos/Ubuntu) and Networking experience.
Orchestration and management of containers using Kubernetes, Helm, GKE and Docker.
Experience with Gitlab, ArgoCD, CI/CD methodologies & tools.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Python or other scripting languages.
