Cyber Threat Analyst, Senior

As a cyber threat intelligence analyst, you know that detailed threat analysis gives organizations a critical edge. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in cyber data to assess and produce actionable intelligence that supports cyber intelligence and operations. Using specialized tools and services, you’ll conduct in-depth host-based and network-based digital forensic examinations. You'll apply cutting-edge technologies to enhance our ability to process metadata and content for discovery, while developing intelligence products that strengthen law enforcement investigations.

You Have:   

  • 8+ years of experience performing analysis on cyber intrusions and the analysis of technical data within cyber threat environments

  • Experience conducting disk, memory, and network forensic analysis    

  • Experience drafting clear, concise reports on complex data analyses

  • Experience briefing technical findings to various stakeholders

  • Ability to function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments    

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience using digital forensic tools such as Magnet AXIOM, X-Ways, EnCase, Autopsy, and Volatility

  • Experience with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark, Zeek, and Arkime

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting

  • Experience supervising teams

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
