Job Description

You will join the Business Line Secure Element Architecture team, which is responsible for defining the architectures of secure elements within the Secure Transactions and Identity (STI) business. This includes embedded secure elements used in mobile devices and IoT applications, as well as SmartCard ICs for payment and secure identity solutions.

As part of multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to shaping new product architectures, support development from concept phase to mass production, and help enable successful customer design-wins.

Your tasks include

Architecture exploration focused on performance and security for Secure Elements:

  • Support analysis for performance improvements and security countermeasures
  • Support architecture exploration and modelling for new memory technologies and concepts
  • Perform lab measurements to support architectural evaluations

Your Profile

  • Student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, ideally enrolled in Master's degree
  • Basic understanding of IC and software architectures
  • Foundational knowledge of security concepts and secure system design
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, creative mindset with strong initiative and a hands-on attitude

Working Conditions

  • Working time: up to 18 hours/week

The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
