What will you do:

Works with sales team to design, develop, and prepare commercial HVAC equipment pricing proposals.

How you will do it:

  • Hands-on experience working with and developing sales estimates for HVAC commercial equipment such as VRF systems, Roof-top units, DOAS units, VAV’s, fan coils, WSHP’s, ERV’s, AHU’s, and blower coils.
  • Visit project sites for pre-sale design support and proposal development
  • Review contractor bid requests and project mechanical drawings
  • Maintain and coordinate HVAC equipment bid list
  • Understand the scope of work, measuring, taking off quantities from drawings, preparing quantities, and estimating projects.
  • Create pricing benchmark and standardize pricing format.
  • Prepare proposals and price forms for submission along with performing risk and opportunity reviews
  • Prepare commercial qualifications as needed
  • Coordinate and manage service mechanical manpower for start-up and warranty work
  • Inspect equipment upon delivery and deliver accessory components and replacement parts as needed
  • Visit job sites for inspection of commercial equipment and review of warranty issues
  • Attend design engineer and commercial negotiation meetings as required

What we look for:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years working experience in Mechanical, HVAC, Industry
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering commercial equipment projects successfully.
  • Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong commercial and financial risk management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with multiple design and estimating software applications such as Bluebeam, Hitachi airCloud, and Selection Navigator.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $97,000-152,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
