The Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Lead, Pricing Operations to join our Key Accounts Pricing Operations Team. In this role, your will help defend our pricing against competitors, ensuring that Agoda always has the most competitive offers in the markets. You will support our commercial teams by understanding their needs, mastering our internal systems, analyzing pricing incidents and and providing sound recommendations that maximize business impact. This person will work closely with various internal functions including Commercial, Pricing Strategy, Marketing and Affiliate teams to streamline processes and drive strategic initiatives to support commercial pricing needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 1-2 specialists and fully own commercial pricing escalations, ensuring speedy and high quality support that maximize business impact.
- Analyze data and identify pricing or operational issues. Convert insights into actions and reliably execute improvement projects.
- Subject matter expert on pricing knowledge and internal operations tools relevant to key accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Pricing Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Analytics and others) to streamline processes and support pricing and operational initiatives.
- Incubate and execute to completion various strategic initiatives to streamline processes and drive business impacts from commercial pricing perspective.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years experience in operational excellence, sales operations or project management.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and/or business intelligence tools, with a track record of using data to drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, able to connect operational changes to business results.
- Ability to make sense of complex operational processes, internal technical processes and flows and connect the dot back to commercial impact. &
