The Global aRTD (Adult ready to drink) Supply Chain Director position is a strategic functional position that is a critical role in the execution of the Category growth strategy, and overall success in delivering revenue growth and margin expansion.  The role will elevate TCCC’s global competitiveness by infusing strategy into the innovation process and providing thought leadership in resiliency, profitability, responsiveness and sustainable alcohol supply chains.  

 

Scope, Impact & Focus Areas:

  • Develop aRTD Supply Chain Strategy, Design and Implementation 

  • Partner with external Business Partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders to design and develop new supply chains for spirits supply optimizing cost, investment, and consideration of tariffs, VATS, excise taxes, and other regulatory requirements 

  • Serve as Global lead and technical expert for implementation of new supply chain designs 

  • Lead development of and execution of local agreements required amongst parties to enable supply chain execution 

  • Support development of Business Cases for new projects/innovations 

  • Lead Global Network Orchestration of aRTD Supply Chain 

  • Serve as the single point contact for external Spirit Partners for Demand Planning, Execution, and Project Implementation 

  • Manage monthly bulk spirits demand planning process  

  • Develop 3-year bulk spirit capacity planning requirements for Spirit Partners  

  • Drive Growth and Profitability 

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Sourcing (G2G, CEPG) on key Raw Material sourcing strategies, and business continuity 

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement cost structure improvement actions 

  • Partner with aRTD team on innovation pipeline to proactively set stage for manufacturing supply chain 

  • Experimentation vs. Pilot (identifying supply chain solutions to support experiments à Pilot à Commercialization) 

  • Targeted projects 

  • Launch & Scale - Collaborate with OU to design  

  •  Lead Portfolio and Network Optimization for the aRTD Category 
  • Capacity and Supply Chain Network Design 

  • Enable aRTD Category Operational Excellence 

  • Create and manage Scorecards with KPIs and lead development and implementation of continuous improvement actions 

  • Effectively use Digital Logistics platforms to inform short-term countermeasures for special cause performance issues and to drive long-term supply chain design solutions for common cause opportunities    

  • Understand gaps in supply chain capabilities for current and future category requirements to develop solutions/options in partnership with other Function and OU/Country Technical Leaders 

  • Lead development of the long-term supply chain strategy together with Category business leaders and category innovation leader. Considered as a supply chain expert both internally and externally.

Work Focus:

  • Design Scalable solutions to support the achievement of the Business Plan and long-term growth strategy of aRTD Category. 

  • Design end to end supply chain solutions for the pre-pipeline in aRTD ARTD category.  

  • Lead development of the long-term business model with finance to close gaps in category supply chain value stream optimization. 

  • Partner with Global Supply chain, Strategy, and Infrastructure Leaders to develop category specific action plans and lead the execution of these action plans in a Global scope. 

  • Partner with OU’s to increase supply chain orchestration improving system asset utilization. 

  • Leverage project management routines to communicate and deliver the initiatives in a networked environment.

  • Build relationships and networks with key stakeholders across the organization. 

  • This role communicates internally and globally with TI&SC network, Global Category Marketing and OU teams. 

  • Suppliers, Transportation & warehousing systems providers 

  • Consultants’ selection to Project Development as well as for educational programs. 

  • Strong communication and alignment with Global Supply Chain and Global Process teams. 

  • Build strategic relationships with vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and other KO Supply Chain teams globally.

Experience:  

  • 10+ years of Operational, leadership and/or technical experience. 

  • Ideal candidate will have strong alcohol category experience. 

  • Strong understanding of external supply chain space (competition, networks, trends, and best practices) and application to gaps and initiatives to identify top country category combinations. 

  • Business/financial background in investment and financial analysis. 

  • Understanding and development of contractual language.  

  • Understanding of beverage manufacturing processes and equipment. 

  • Knowledge of aRTD Category way of work (preferred) 

  • English fluency required. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain experience or related field with increasing responsibility in scope, with multi-countries management experience. 

  • Preferred experience in ARTD (beer, FAB, hard lemonade space, spirits base) 

  • Able to work and influence across a networked organization.  

  • Project management experience  

  • Experience and comfort working directly with senior executives; aligning senior execs with differing perspectives internally and externally. 

  • Strong ability to understand and evaluate how various actions affect a variety of system stakeholders, primarily bottlers, co-packers, from a financial and business perspective. 

 

Education Requirements: 

  • Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration or Equivalent Degree.
