As ASIC Test Engineering Intern at Micron Technology, Inc, you will be working with Design, Product, cross functional teams and learning about test program development, probe card/load board/socket design and manufacturing, production program implementation and improving program efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of ASIC test plans under the guidance of senior test engineers.
• Contribute to the creation of test cases to validate ASIC functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Gain hands-on experience with automated testing tools and scripting for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze and document test results, identifying and reporting defects.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to address and resolve issues related to test coverage and product quality.
• Participate in discussions on test methodologies and strategies to enhance overall testing efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in ASIC testing techniques.
• Contribute to the preparation of test documentation and reports for review by the team.

Requirement

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical, Material, or a related field.

• Demonstrated interest in ASIC testing and semiconductor technology.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, with a willingness to learn scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation.
• Eagerness to develop analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and debugging ASIC issues.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to evolving technologies in the semiconductor industry.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and thorough results.
• Familiarity with basic industry standards and protocols is a plus.
