The Internal Controls Analyst is responsible for assisting in driving an effective and efficient control environment across assigned business processes, in line with the COSO framework and Kraft Heinz ICFR/SOX requirements. The role encompasses the full controls lifecycle, including process walkthroughs, risk and control mapping, control design and optimization, testing of design and operating effectiveness, documentation, and issue remediation testing, while partnering closely with process owners.
Support the governance and continuous improvement of internal control policies and procedures across Kraft Heinz LATAM, ensuring alignment with global policies and standards.
Contribute to the standardization and optimization of processes and controls across the region, ensuring consistency with global frameworks and promoting best practices within the business.
The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate effectively across multiple organizations and teams, manage competing priorities, consistently meet deadlines under time constraints, and quickly understand complex business processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Finance/Accounting/Audit/Risk and controls
- Controls experience in FMCG/Manufacturing with an understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP preferred
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
Desirable:
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CRMA, CCSA, or CFE
- Experience with ERP and GRC systems, preferably SAP (ECC/S4), AuditBoard, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
