PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for coordinating and executing the internal audit at the IEM manufacturing plant/s.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct internal audits across departments to assess risk and control effectiveness
- Develop audit plans, scope, and objectives based on risk assessments
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist in the development and refinement of internal audit procedures
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices
COMPETENCIES:
- Skills: Must have strong Problem Solving and Analytical abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Software: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems, CAPA processes, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
- 2+ years of experience in auditing or related field
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity
- Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance is strongly preferred.
