Your New Role: 
The Sr. Developer, Workday Integration will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions within the Workday platform. This position is based in Hyderabad and is responsible for ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and other enterprise systems, addressing any technical challenges that arise. 

 

As a key contributor to the Workday Integrations team, the Sr. Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management and support of Workday integration solutions. The focus will be on technical development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of integration processes. 

 

Key responsibilities include managing integration projects, providing technical support for incidents and enhancements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of integration initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in software development and integration technologies. 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

INTEGRATION DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION (40%) 

  • Design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions within the Workday platform. 

  • Utilize Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Web Services. 

  • Ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other enterprise systems. 

  • Address technical challenges and troubleshoot integration issues. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions. 

 

TECHNICAL SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING (30%) 

  • Provide technical support for integration incidents and enhancements. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 

  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates, patches, and enhancements. 

  • Maintain documentation of technical processes and support procedures for integrations. 

  • Monitor integration performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. 

 

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT (20%) 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams and business units. 

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure alignment on integration initiatives. 

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to translate requirements and ensure successful implementation of integration projects. 

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on integration project progress and status. 

  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve integration solutions. 

 

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (10%) 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within integration solutions. 

  • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of integration processes. 

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in integration development. 

  • Implement best practices for integration development and management. 

  • - Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software development and integration technologies, preferably within Workday or related fields. 

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex integration solutions. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Not Required but preferred experience: 

  • Workday Integration certification or equivalent. 

  • Experience with cloud-based HR systems, particularly Workday. 

  • - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
