Full Stack Developer - AWS Angular

You will be joining Vanguard America’s digital experience team, a dynamic group supporting B2B Advisors technologies across Mexico, South America, and US offshore markets. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a critical role in building and enhancing secure and public-facing digital experiences for B2B clients in these regions. You will play a foundational role as part of Vanguard’s initial IT presence in Mexico We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and support modern web applications in a hybrid role based in our Mexico office. This role contributes to the development of scalable, secure, and user-focused digital solutions using Angular and AWS, while working closely with experienced engineers, product partners, and UX teams.

The ideal candidate is a solid full-stack engineer with hands-on experience building modern web applications, a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development, and growing exposure to cloud, security, and DevOps practices.

**This Hybrid Role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in Mexico City, MX**

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, tests, and supports full-stack web applications using Angular, Java/TypeScript, and AWS, under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.
• Translates functional and technical requirements into working solutions, contributing clean, maintainable code for new development and enhancements with a focus on GraphQL, RESTful APIs and modular design.
• Builds responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned with enterprise design systems, following established UI standards and responsive design principles.
• Implements and supports secure web application features, including authentication and authorization flows and secure API access, following established security best practices.
• Contributes to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes. Uses containerization technologies (Docker) as part of modern development and deployment workflows.
• Deploys changes to development and test environments and supports production releases. Participates in incident troubleshooting and production support activities as needed.
• Participates in code reviews, testing activities, and design discussions, learning to identify issues and apply best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners including product owners, UX designers, QA, security, and platform teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Builds understanding of business processes, platform integrations, and enterprise systems relevant to supported applications.
• Applies organizational technology standards, development practices, and information security policies to all deliverables.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of related experience in full-stack or web application development

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Experience developing full-stack applications using Angular, Java, and TypeScript

Experience designing and consuming GraphQL, RESTful APIs

Experience with AI standards, frameworks, models, and libraries (e.g., LangGraph, Model Context Protocol, OpenAI).

Exposure to AWS or cloud-based application development

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment automation

Working knowledge of Docker or containerization concepts

Understanding of secure web development practices, including authentication and authorization

Experience working within established design systems

Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and responsive design principles

Nice to Have

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
