We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications that delight users and set new standards for in-vehicle experiences
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring new features from concept to production
- Optimize app performance, stability, and quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement
- Integrate your applications with Applied Vehicle OS and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
- Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, and sprint planning as part of a collaborative team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and tools to drive innovation
We're looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of Android or iOS application development experience
- 2-4+ years of experience shipped apps at scale
- Experience in Kotlin and Java for Android
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.)
- Product-focused mindset and passion for building seamless, user-centric experiences
- Self-starter attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
Nice to have:
- Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and/or Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
