Software Principal Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
Develop test automation by programming in contemporary languages. Enhance and refine test methodologies and processes.
Apply AI assisted and agentic AI–based testing approaches for test generation, failure analysis, and test prioritization.
Contributes to the architecture and design of complex systems and storage environments. Define requirements and specifications for automated test cases.
Review and evaluate software and storage specifications. Support the development and execution of test strategies for complex software and storage systems.

Essential Requirements
8 to 14 years' experience with fault/error injections, chaos testing, or resilience testing.
Experience in test design, integration, automation, and delivery of Linux-based platform software for storage subsystems.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills, including kernel and driver-level root-cause analysis with proficiency in C or Python, with familiarity in scripting languages.
Knowledge of Git, JIRA, and other version control or issue-tracking systems and experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including hands-on experience with AI assisted and agentic AI–driven testing tools or frameworks.
Desirable Requirements
Experience in Storage domain (SAN/NAS/Virtualization).
Experience in developing software for software-defined infrastructure, including hybrid cloud/on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
