The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our growing service and installation team, supporting projects across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
This is a hands‑on role installing and maintaining commercial HVAC and mechanical services systems, with the opportunity to be involved in both new installations and ongoing service work across a diverse customer base.

What You’ll Be Doing
Install sheet metal and flexible ductwork in line with drawings, specifications, and site requirements
Fit and secure air handling units, fans, grilles, diffusers, and mechanical ventilation components
Assist with installation of packaged units, split systems, VRF/VRV systems, and rooftop equipment
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, seal, and insulate ductwork using hand and power tools
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and job documentation
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, builders, and other site trades
Support the service team with general HVAC servicing and repairs when required
Conduct basic system testing to confirm airflow and performance
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
Follow WHS requirements including working at heights, confined spaces, and manual handling
Report progress, variations, and site issues to supervisors or project managers
What We’re Looking For
Certificate III in Air‑Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential)
Experience installing HVAC ductwork or mechanical services equipment (commercial preferred)
Ability to read mechanical plans and understand duct layouts
Strong skills using hand tools, power tools, and duct fabrication equipment
Knowledge of Australian Standards (including AS 4254), NCC requirements, and WHS practices
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clear communication skills for working with customers, builders, and site supervisors
