About The Job

Robotics System Applications Engineer

Analog Devices is a global leader in advanced technology innovation. We are expanding our Robotics System Applications team, which plays a pivotal role in shaping how robots move, sense, and interact with the physical world. Robotics is a key interface between artificial intelligence and real-world environments, and ADI is at the forefront of this transformation.

Our team leverages ADI’s broad portfolio of technologies — from integrated circuits to subsystems and AI — to develop cutting‑edge solutions that enable smarter, safer, and more efficient mobile robots.

The System Applications team develops system‑level technical solutions, creates end‑to‑end signal chains and architectures, and collaborates with customers and internal teams to define and deliver high‑impact innovations. As a Senior Robotics System Applications Engineer, you will contribute to the development of advanced robotic subsystems, influence future ADI technologies, and help drive growth in a rapidly expanding market segment.

We are seeking candidates who are open‑minded, have strong technical knowledge and business acumen, and are motivated to grow while working with breakthrough technologies and innovative products.

We offer competitive compensation and continuous opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced and innovative setting.

  • Develop hardware, software, and embedded systems for mobile robotics applications.

  • Develop system-level block diagrams and signal chains using ADI technologies.

  • Quantify the impact of technologies on robotic performance metrics.

  • Present ADI Robotics solutions to key customers and at trade shows.

  • Cooperate in the ideation of new products and system‑level solutions based on application needs.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Analog Devices’ product offering and future developments

  • Analyze our competitors’ technical benefits and weak points

  • Collaborate across ADI to deliver near‑term customer solutions and influence long‑term technology roadmaps; work closely with ADI Technology teams to shape our future products to deliver maximum value to the customer.

  • Develop international relationships with our Field Application Engineers by creating and delivering technical training material.

  • Continue learning every day and expand your system‑level understanding in relevant application segments; analyze customer system issues and define value‑added solutions.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on robotics.

  • PhD or 2-4 years of experience in technical developments (PCB level, firmware level, FPGA is a plus). Larger level of experience is appreciated

  • Solid understanding of electronics, especially in embedded systems and sensor integration.

  • Good knowledge of robotics applications, preferably mobile robots.

  • Preferred knowledge of Industrial Vision technologies, including Time of Flight and Sensor Fusion techniques

  • Preferred knowledge of Motion technologies, including BLDC and PMSM drives

  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques is a plus

  • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System).

  • Must have excellent and effective oral and written English communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple priorities/projects

  • Strong team player aiming to build a collaborative environment and interact inside and outside the organization. Critical thinking with a problem-solving approach
