The Coordinator II coordinates department project activities and develops department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities as well as coordinating department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities.

A caregiver in this position will work 7:30am to 4:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Collect, maintain and report information for the department such as; patient information, budgets, employee PTO and schedules.
  • Assist with the coordination of various department activities by distributing reports, facilitating the analysis and reporting of information.
  • Function as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with performance evaluations, counseling and on-boarding of new employees.
  • Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School or GED required
  • Minimum of three years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
