Position summary:
This role drives data-centric decision velocity by engineering scalable datasets, operationalizing analytics workflows, and building insights for both leadership and frontline teams. The analyst will architect and govern data pipelines across SQL environments, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint—while also upskilling internal users to maximize self-service analytics adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Modeling
- Build, optimize, and maintain large-scale datasets from multiple systems using SQL, Power Query, and automated ETL pipelines.
- Implement strong data governance practices—quality checks, documentation, refresh scheduling, and security roles.
- Develop dynamic Power BI dashboards enabling leadership insight consumption.
- Create user-friendly reports tailored to daily operational teams, with drill-throughs and actionable KPIs.
- Build PowerApps to streamline data capture, approvals, and field workflows.
- Deploy Power Automate flows to reduce manual work, orchestrate cross-system actions, and trigger alerting.
- Facilitate onboarding and training sessions to empower teams in using Power BI, PowerApps, and related tools confidently.
- Troubleshoot systemic data issues proactively and maintain an ongoing feedback loop with business users to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain structured documentation to support sustainability and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders, advising on data strategy, KPIs, and reporting roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy standards, and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field required
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Deep experience with the Microsoft Power Platform:
- Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visuals, row-level security)
- PowerApps (canvas/model-driven apps, connectors)
- Power Automate (workflow automation, triggers/actions)
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance across tools.
- Ability to rapidly learn and apply new ETL, data preparation, analytics, and BI tools, including non-standard or emerging platforms, to meet evolving business needs.
- Experience operating in complex, low-maturity data ecosystems with fragmented source systems, limited data centralization, and significant need for data integration, harmonization, and scalable reporting architecture.

- Strong facilitation skills to train nontechnical users and drive adoption.
- Appetite for continuous learning and rapid experimentation.
- Ability to operate independently while coordinating closely across functional boundaries.
- Ability to travel (0 - 10%)
