Elevate Entertainment Finance: Shape the Future of Streaming Content

We're seeking a strategic finance professional to drive financial innovation in the world of original series production. Your analytical expertise will directly influence the creative decisions that bring ground-breaking entertainment to millions of global viewers.

Key job responsibilities
Build and maintain databases and automated workflows to support Original Series forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Dive deep into data sources to identify discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement solutions that ensure reporting accuracy and financial compliance.
Collaborate with production, production finance, accounting, business affairs, music, and consumer products teams to model financial scenarios and support data-driven decision making.
Develop and execute projects that streamline financial processes, enhance controllership, and improve forecast accuracy with measurable results.
Proactively analyze financial data to identify trends, propose improvements, and provide recommendations that influence business performance across Original Series finance.

A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing financial data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners in production, business affairs, and accounting to gather information needed for building financial models. Throughout the day, you'll work on automating workflows, creating database solutions, and developing reports that provide transparency into key metrics. You may be asked to run a music royalty forecast or profit waterfall analysis to support deal negotiations.

About the team
Our team oversees end-to-end Original Series finance, from development through to post-release reporting and long-term forecasts. We work closely with our partners in creative, production, and accounting to track and manage team performance against key metrics and annual budgets. We provide financial insights that shape content strategy and investment decisions, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across the portfolio.

As financial stewards, we balance creative ambition with fiscal responsibility, developing systems and processes that scale with our growing content slate. We're committed to providing timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis that enables informed business decisions at every stage of the content lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of Fortune 500 operational accounting experience
- Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment
- Knowledge of content accounting, production accounting, profit waterfalls, and/or music royalties
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- 3+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
