Job Description

Your Impact at Lila

We are looking for a strategic Product Marketing Manager (Life Science) to own go‑to‑market for Lila’s life science product portfolio. You will translate complex, closed‑loop AI + lab capabilities (e.g., mRNA design, DNA construct optimization, AI‑driven med chem) into clear, credible stories and commercial offerings for:

  • Biopharma and advanced therapy companies
  • R&D and CMC leaders
  • Data science / AI teams and scientific IT

You will partner closely with Ryan and the LS Product team on 2026 priorities—such as RNA and DNA design tech tiles, hit‑to‑lead / lead optimization offerings, and early commercial pilots—to define positioning, launch plans, and evidence that move prospects from curiosity to committed programs.

What You'll Be Building

Messaging & Positioning

  • Define and continuously refine product narratives for Lila’s life science capabilities (RNA/mRNA design, DNA constructs, protein and small‑molecule optimization, AISF‑powered workflows).
  • Tailor messaging to specific personas (Heads of R&D, Therapeutic Area leaders, CMC, translational and bioinformatics leads, Scientific IT) and use cases (e.g., hit‑to‑lead, mRNA Tx design, in vivo CAR‑T data stories).
  • Ensure all external materials reflect Lila’s master narrative on scientific superintelligence, safety, and multi‑domain learning.

Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Launch

  • Lead end‑to‑end GTM for new life science product capabilities: from beta / pilot framing through general availability and expansion.
  • Partner with Product, Commercial, and BizOps to define offer constructs (e.g., pilot scopes, pricing guardrails, AISF access models) and the customer journey from first meeting to signed program.
  • Map Lila’s roadmap milestones (e.g., new RNA/DNA or med‑chem capabilities, app workflows) into external launch moments aligned with events, PR, and sales cycles.

Content & Evidence Creation

  • Create technical and visionary content that makes our capabilities tangible:
    • Use‑case briefs, technical one‑pagers, solution guides
    • Decks for customer pitches, partner discussions, and scientific meetings
    • Blog posts, webinar scripts, demo narratives, and explainer videos in partnership with Brand/Creative.
  • Collaborate with LS Product, science, and commercial teams to turn pilots and tech tiles into case studies that show real impact (e.g., improved hit quality, faster lead optimization, better mRNA properties, reduced experimental cycles).

Sales & Field Enablement

  • Equip Commercial and Business Development with high‑impact tools: narrative decks, talk tracks, objection handling, competitive positioning, and ROI framing.
  • Ensure our LS pitch evolves with each new capability (RNA/DNA, mRNA property optimization, AI‑driven med chem, AISF throughput), giving field teams crisp ways to explain “what Lila actually does” for a given customer type.
  • Partner with Ryan and Commercial leadership to capture learnings from marquee meetings (Merck, J&J, etc.) and feed them back into content and positioning.

Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Maintain a sharp view of competitive and partner landscapes across AI‑native discovery platforms, lab automation, and digital R&D / CMC tools.
  • Synthesize customer feedback from discovery calls, pilots, and conferences into clear insights for Product and leadership: what resonates, what confuses, what’s missing.
  • Help prioritize which life science stories to tell first (e.g., RNA vs. DNA vs. proteins vs. CMC / digital twin) based on traction and 2026 revenue goals.

Product Collaboration

  • Serve as an embedded PMM with the LS Product team:
