About the role
- Experienced Mechanical Engineer. Executes elements of product development activities and testing. Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Perform FE analysis as required, verify mechanical design for structural integrity, vibration, shipping & lifting, seismic, fatigue, etc
- Ensure all product design meet company standards, especially those of safety, quality and reliability
- Produce accurate design documentation for instructions, schematics & manufacturing process
- Participate in product prototype/ECS/MCS building and lead the PDCA activities
- Validate components function and reliability in laboratory and field
- Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target from Mechanical view
- Collaborate with factory team to effectively implement design into production
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- Master degree with major in mechanical or related area, Master degree is preferred
- Be familiar with common office software application and customization tools, Especially with Pro-e, Ansys, AUTOCAD etc.
- In depth knowledge of Mechanics and FEA analysis field and FEA analysis experience
- Familiar with CFD, Cradle tools and related analysis experience, preferred
- Knowledge and experience on materials and component selection, detailed mechanical design, fabrication, sheet metal, piping, welding and casting
- Fluent English (both written and spoken), preferred
- HVAC industry experience, preferred
- Teamwork skills required
