Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied ML Scientist to join our Applied Networking AI group. In this role you will help develop ML and data-science solutions in the fields of predictive-maintenance, root-cause analysis and AIOPS. You'll collaborate closely with subject-matter-experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to push the envelope forward in using cutting-edge technologies and data-driven insights to improve NVIDIA's products.

As a key contributor you will own the entire ML science stack, driving projects from ideation to production and develop a deep understanding of NVIDIA's platforms.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead ML projects in the field of predictive-maintenance and root-cause analysis.

  • Work with stakeholders (such as SMEs, product, engineers, architects, etc) and translate concrete business problems into ML and modeling formulations.

  • Experiment, refine and test hypotheses in a rigorous manner, and communicate results to stakeholders and management.

  • Deep-dive into complex data and modeling.

What we need to see:

  • Master's / PhD degree in mathematics, computer-science, physics, or in another engineering field from a leading university.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience solving business problems with applied ML research and data-science.

  • Excellent track of leading ML projects from ideation to production.

  • Excellent ability to convey and communicate data-based insights to stakeholders and management.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Publications/patents in AI/ML.

  • Experience working with big-data.

  • High energy and a positive, proactive and curious approach.
