ROLE OVERVIEW
The team supports a Tier 1 Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) client within the Market Risk domain in the development of AI and Agent-based Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
We’re looking for a Junior Business Analyst who is a structured thinker and AI explorer. Someone who is analytical and curious, eager to experiment with AI while bringing clarity, structure, and rigor to business analysis, requirements engineering and delivery processes. No prior experience in Capital Markets or Market Risk is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work closely with Senior Consultants and client stakeholders in the areas of:
AI & Prompt Engineering:
- Design, test and refine prompts for AI/Agent-based use cases
- Experiment with different prompting strategies to optimize outputs
- Document and structure prompt patterns and learnings
- Identify practical business applications of AI in requirements engineering and delivery workflows
Business Analysis & Delivery Support:
- Translate business needs into structured requirements
- Support grooming and structuring of JIRA backlogs
- Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Draft test cases and support UAT preparation
- Analyze AI-generated outputs and assess their business usability
- Contribute to PoC evaluation (value, feasibility, risks)
Analytical & Exploratory Work:
- Explore how AI can improve:
- Requirements definition
- Documentation quality
- Test case generation
- Workflow automation
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose enhancements
- Structure findings into clear presentations and documentation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Professional experience:
- Initial experience (0–2 years) in:
- Business Analysis
- Consulting
- Banking / Financial Services
- Digital / IT projects
- Exposure to Agile environments is a plus
- Proven initial practical use and application of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) either professionally, at university or personally
Skills & Mindset:
- Demonstrated understanding of how to effectively interact with AI tools (e.g., large language models), including the ability to craft, test, and refine prompts.
- Awareness of AI limitations, risks, and ethical considerations, such as hallucinations, bias, data privacy, and reliability of outputs.
- (Nice-to-have) prompt engineering techniques (chain of thought, few-shot prompting, etc.) and RAG knowledge
- (Nice-to-have) Observability and evaluation (to know whether change of prompt improved the results of the model)
- Strong analytical thinking
- Structured and detail-oriented mindset
- Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
- Ability to challenge and refine outputs critically
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to structure ambiguity into clarity
