Job Description

POSITION TITLE: SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, PRACTICE TECHNOLOGY

LOCATION:

  • The ideal candidate will work remotely and have the ability to travel two (2) times per quarter or up to 10-15%.
  • The ideal candidate will have a HIPAA compliant home office in one of the following states: NC, NJ, PA, DE

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • This is an Execution-Focused Delivery role
  • The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Practice Technology is an execution-first individual contributor responsible for end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives aligned to practice operations. This role owns initiatives from intake and discovery through delivery, stabilization, and post-implementation follow-through.
  • This is a hands-on delivery role, not an advisory or coordination-only position. Success is measured by outcomes shipped, problems resolved, operator satisfaction, and execution clarity, even when development work is performed by external vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 4-year degree required
  2.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Systems Analyst related positions
  3.  Experience partnering with external vendors
  4. Experience in analytics such as, but not limited to, data bricks, Cigma, SQL
  5. Cross-org implementations, experience working with EMR- products
  6. Strong project management background and comfortable with technical details
  7. Proven experience owning delivery of complex initiatives in operational environments
  8.  Strong project execution and follow-through skills
  9.  Experience working with integrated enterprise systems (e.g., EMRs or operational platforms)
  10. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and incomplete information
  11. Strong written communication skills with a bias toward documentation and clarity
  12. Willingness to engage directly with users and operational teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in healthcare or regulated operational environments strongly preferred
  2. Experience with AI and automation experience
  3. PMP certification preferred
  4. Experience supporting, configuring, or optimizing EMR systems preferred
  5. Hands-on experience with reporting, analytics, or data validation
  6. Background in product operations, platform delivery, or systems enablement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Delivery Ownership & Project Execution

  • Own assigned initiatives from intake through completion
  • Create and maintain clear project plans, including scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Drive execution across vendors, support teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively identify blockers and escalate with recommended options
  • Accountable for timelines, readiness, and quality of delivery
  • This role is expected to execute and deliver, not simply participate or coordinate Practice Engagement & Workflow Discovery
  • Serve as a practice-facing technology lead for assigned work
  • Conduct on-site observation, shadowing, and workflow analysis when needed
  • Translate real-world operational workflows into clear requirements and delivery plans
  • Build trust with operators through presence, responsiveness, and follow-through
  • Direct engagement with end users and operational teams is a required part of this role
