Job Description
HubSpot’s Partner Systems & Automation team manages and scales the internal and third-party systems that power our global partner ecosystem, including the Solutions Partner Program and Tech Partner Program. We focus on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that solve pain points for partner operations teams and enable HubSpotters to better serve our partners through simplified, automated workflows and systems.
As Manager, Partner Systems & Automation, you’ll lead a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) while staying close to the work. You’ll own the design and delivery of scalable, reliable partner systems, coach and develop your team, and partner with stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Engineering to turn business strategy into high-quality systems roadmaps and solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of BSAs who design, deliver, and maintain scalable systems for the Solutions Partner and App Partner programs.
- Translate partner strategy and requirements into clear roadmaps, implementation plans, and technical specifications.
- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of BSA projects and requests, balancing impact, risk, and long-term system health.
- Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering to scope problems, align on tradeoffs, and ship high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Oversee key integrations, third-party systems, data flows, and QA/UAT to ensure reliability, data quality, and a strong user experience.
- Use data and feedback to identify automation and AI opportunities, measure results, and iterate on partner systems.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Business Systems, Product Management, RevOps, or a comparable systems-focused role, including experience in B2B SaaS or similar environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing analysts or technical teams, with a track record of coaching others and elevating team performance.
- Strong experience implementing and scaling third-party systems and low-code/no-code automations (e.g., workflow automation tools, CRM frameworks).
- Ability to work confidently with data: writing, reading, and modifying SQL; leveraging reporting tools to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Familiarity with data modeling, integrations, ETL processes, and RESTful APIs, and experience partnering with Engineering on architecture and scalability decisions.
- Experience integrating AI model APIs or AI-powered capabilities into operational systems (e.g., via RESTful APIs or workflow automation tools), including prompt design, error handling, and performance considerations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, influence decisions, and align diverse groups around a shared plan.
- Proven adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment, including pivoting strategy, roadmap, or approach based on new information or business needs.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of HubSpot’s partner ecosystem (Solutions Partners, Tech Partners) and related GTM processes, or comparable experience in partner programs, alliances, or channel operations.
- Experience supporting or leading Sales, CS, or GTM systems in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with modern data and integration ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Workato, other iPaaS tools).
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives that span systems, processes, and change management.
