What You Can Expect

• Architect, design and develop system software for reliable, scalable, high performing PCIe devices.
• Develop new features and enhance existing features for PCIe devices by designing data structures and algorithms tailored for Marvell hardware-based accelerators, Storage and FC products.
• Integrate open-source/customer software with Marvell solutions and open source libraries.
• Develop Crypto security software (protocol and applications) optimized for Marvell Crypto/IPsec Accelerators.
• Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware.
• Analyze and investigate methods to enhance software performance on Marvell SoC by eliminating bottlenecks using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements.
• Work with Technical Marketing engineers (TME), product managers and cross functional hardware/software engineers to understand and solve customer issues.
• Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution.
• Work on ARM based SoC products, design and develop firmware and software Marvell products.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong programming expertise in C/C++
  • Solid understanding of ARM-based CPU architectures
  • Experience with cryptographic technologies and IPsec accelerators
  • Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and debugging using JTAG
  • Familiarity with PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) protocol
  • Knowledge of sideband communication protocols such as SMBus, VDM, MCTP, PLDM

Additional Skills:

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working closely with hardware and firmware teams
  • RUST language knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in embedded firmware or systems engineering roles

Exposure to networking or data center technologies
