Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Embedded Payments Product & Program Prioritization to drive the adoption and success of embedded payments partnerships.

Our Embedded Payments Partnership team plays a pivotal role in establishing and deepening strategic relationships with leading technology platforms, ERPs, ISVs and payment providers. By forging these alliances, we advance Elavon's strategy of seamlessly integrating payment acceptance into the wider ecosystem, ensuring we meet the evolving multi-channel needs of our merchants both now and in the future.

A commercial understanding of how integrations with major technology platforms operate to grow value, and  a firm technical understanding of payments technologies work across in-store, online and in AI agent initiated payment flows will be necessary. You will work closely with various groups in a cross-collaboration environment to deliver projects that enable embedded payment partnership success.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be accountable for prioritizing key initiatives, driving strategies and working across product and the business to prioritize business outcome (revenue) into project plans that drive in-year and foundational growth revenue. This will be accomplished through program and project management, research, documentation, strategy planning and engagement with sales, business development, marketing, go to market, partnership management, and product teams. 

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Lead prioritization of business priorities with product teams, ensuring timely execution.

  • Develop and implement embedded finance strategies with US Bank solutions globally

  • Collaborate with Partners, Solution Consultants, Sales Leaders and Relationship Managers to determine roadmap blockers, dependencies early on and develop plans to remedy projects that need to be delivered on time.

  • Product material assets that track and report program and project performance metrics, presentations on the industry and solutions we offer competitively, strategies we should be evaluating with partnerships, competitive pricing and parity of solution to industry players, and maintaining dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor progress and effectiveness.

  • Produce thought strategies, prototypes and frameworks for new partnerships, continue to develop industry insights, and broader solution needs for embedded payments and finance in coordination with the Global Head of EPP Solution Design & Enablement

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external parties to streamline processes, define scalable processes toward expanded revenue growth and partner scale opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Program and Project Management: strong organizational skills enabling the ability to plan, prioritize, and break down complex projects into actionable tasks

  • Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with payment technologies, APIs, and integration processes. Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable go-to-market strategies.

  • Use of AI tools: Understand effective ways to saving time on analysis, efficiency in prototype development and demonstrating productivity gains across all areas of the role.

  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and grow complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.

  • Strategic Insight Development: master storyteller with the ability to translate and deliver complex topics into clear, compelling stories that resonate with target audiences

  • Agility & Innovation: Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving and highly adaptive environments.

  • Highly detail oriented: Consistently ensures accuracy and completeness in all deliverables, maintaining high quality standards

  • 8-10 years of experience in program and project management, partnerships in the payments industry.

  • Experience with embedded finance or embedded payment solutions.

  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
