Job Description
The Data Center Field Engineering Team is the engineering owner for the lifecycle of AWS data centers. This includes supporting new designs/innovations through data center end-of-life, with a focus on root cause analysis of failures, capacity and availability improvement, and optimization of the existing fleet.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our Field Engineering team and lead the development of our Root Cause Analysis product and business operations. In this role, you will define product strategy, own the roadmap, and drive execution of a platform that integrates multiple enterprise systems to achieve world class uptime for our customers.

• Translate Field Engineer needs into technical requirements, functional specifications, and integration designs across platforms
• Partner with software development teams to evaluate technical proposals, assess architectural risks, and ensure scalability for global operations
• Prepare narratives for executive leadership with recommendations which articulate decision points relative to cost, timing, and strategic trade-offs.
• Learn and understand the AWS data center lifecycle specific to Data Center Engineering, globally.
• Provide direct support to Field Engineers including trainings on new and existing processes.
• Interface with internal Field Engineering teams and their partners to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in work-products delivered. Standardize inputs/outputs globally.
• Create strong end-to-end team processes/mechanisms that include training (buy-in) and validation of success through metrics-based criteria.
