You are part of the INSWA (India & South West Asia) OU (Operating Units) FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Service Delivery team of 5 Company associates & a multiple of Genpact Associates that delivers all FP&A activities to the OU. The work the team does covers FP&A topics such as Unit Case Sales, Concentrate Shipments, Revenues, Deductions, Commercial Finance, DME, OpEx, COGS, CapEx and Working Capital. Your primary focus will be on the Top-line and you will be involved in the Close, RE/Flash and BP activities.
The role will be networked with the Operating Unit, the FP&A Process Transformation Team, the other Service Delivery teams, Genpact, the Centre and other areas of the Finance Hub. In this role, you are responsible for regional financial operations supporting the transaction recording, accounting, planning, financial reporting, and scenario modelling of Direct Marketing Investments (DMI) (Marketing Deductions + Direct Marketing Expenses) via a global system (i.e., MEM (Marketing Expense Management) system/MINT) and other relevant applications, serving Operating Units and internal partners, primarily through the management of a third-party managed services provider (MSP).
You will oversee the production results of a third-party MSP who handles DMI-related activities -construct of the DME actuals/plan/budget/forecast with relevant attributes across dimensions based upon business direction and input, financial systems administration of the actuals/plan/budget/forecast, creation of DMI campaigns and processing transactions, generating operational reports primarily for the Marketing Function and Operating Unit stakeholders, producing financial reports and dashboards including information on DMI sharing with bottlers, supporting queries and issues resolution, proposing data/process/technology solutions to maintain and/or enable DMI visibility to business stakeholders, and providing training to business users and Operating Unit teams.
What You’ll Do for Us:
You are responsible for DMI data and process governance and quality for the specific region supported, ensuring standards and consistency of information output for business consumption in partnership with business stakeholders and other Platform Services towers.
You will uphold a strong internal control environment for DMI and supports audit needs.
You will liaise closely with the Category Finance Leads including peripherally Global Marketing, Global Finance, as well as Operating Unit stakeholders to align expectations, ensure smooth operations and service delivery, manage issues and resolution, as well as obtain feedback for improvement.
You will manages/address issue escalations for the specific region supported with the goal of resolving issues reported within a reasonable timeframe.
You will identify opportunities to globally standardize and simplify processing and reporting activities under the service scope. Leads discussions with stakeholders where needed to implement prioritized initiatives to realize said opportunities.
You are responsible to track service levels and key metrics for the specific region supported as well as globally for benchmarking, and drives actions resulting from them, for the resolution of issues or process improvement.
What We’re Looking For
10 years+ of FP&A working experience
Experience in other business functions and field operation will be a plus.
Ability to understand and manage risk
Experience in a multinational company with a global footprint.
