The role will contribute to Margin Enrichment through the Development of New Products/Technologies according to Market requirements.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Demonstrates excellence in paint formulation with comprehensive knowledge of chemistry applied to paint, coating guidelines and fundamentals, and coating application systems

• Develops new products and technologies aligned with market demands and supports execution of Formula Cost Reduction projects in a timely manner

• Provides expert problem-solving support for issues related to assigned technology competencies and supports Technical Sales Service Representatives (TSSR) for troubleshooting in Customer Plants

• Operates Lab Instruments and Application Tools with proficiency, performs calibration following agreed plans with Metrology, and reports any abnormalities promptly

• Maintains clear, detailed records and documentation of all laboratory activities, updates PMP and specific databases/trackers accurately ensuring traceability and data integrity

• Ensures compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality protocols, follows DPI matrix requirements and maintains clean work environment per 5S procedures

• Takes responsibility for actions, demonstrates ownership and initiative, drives tasks to completion with accountability

• Works effectively in team environments, encourages teamwork, and builds strong collaborative relationships across functions

• Degree in Chemistry or related field

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in chemical/coating industry
