Job Description

Our Mission

Healthcare should work for patients, but it doesn’t. In their time of need, they call down outdated insurance directories. Then wait on hold. Then wait weeks for the privilege of a visit. Then wait in a room solely designed for waiting. Then wait for a surprise bill. In any other consumer industry, the companies delivering such a poor customer experience would not survive. But in healthcare, patients lack market power. Which means they are expected to accept the unacceptable.

Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. To do that, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans. By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power. In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around. In time, this will drive quality up and prices down.

We’re 18 years old and the leader in our space, but we are still just getting started. If you like solving important, complex problems alongside deeply thoughtful, driven, and collaborative teammates, read on.

Your Impact on our Mission:

As a Manager, Marketplace Growth Analytics, you’ll lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across Zocdoc’s patient journey. You’ll set the strategic direction for growth analytics, ensuring the team delivers rigorous, high-quality insights that improve product performance and drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll translate complex product and marketplace questions into clear, actionable analyses that shape roadmap decisions and growth strategy.

In this role, you’ll lead analytics for the Marketplace Growth team, which builds and optimizes the core patient experience — from acquisition and activation through booking, re-engagement, and retention. You’ll partner closely with product leaders across discovery and onboarding, the core booking flow, and logged-in patient experiences, helping them define success, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments that drive both product quality and marketplace performance.

You’ll own how performance is defined, measured, and interpreted across these areas. This includes establishing clear success and guardrail metrics, shaping experimentation strategy, identifying high-impact opportunities, and ensuring insights directly inform prioritization and execution. While business partners are accountable for outcomes, this role plays a critical leadership role in embedding analytics into product development, strengthening experimentation rigor, and driving sustained growth across the funnel.

This is a hybrid role based in our SoHo headquarters, partnering closely with Product and Engineering leaders in-person.

You’ll Enjoy This Role If You Are…

  • Passionate about driving business outcomes and leveraging data to help growing products scale.
  • Motivated by close partnership with Product and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and influence real decisions.
  • Energized by developing analysts and supporting their growth across technical, analytical, and stakeholder skills.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on analytical work.
  • Curious about marketplace dynamics and excited to improve how performance is measured and understood.
  • Someone who enjoys turning ambiguous questions into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Drawn to environments where analytics helps bring structure, clarity, and focus to fast-moving teams.

Your Day-to-Day Is…

  • Leading and developing a team of product analysts by providing clear direction, feedback, and hands-on support
  • Growing an analytics team capable of supporting advanced analytical work, including experimentation, causal inference, and predictive modeling.
  • Partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance to support roadmap planning & execution, experimentation, and performance me
