Role Overview
We're seeking an exceptional SAP-focused AI/Automation Platform Engineer to join our SAP team within Corporate Engineering. This role is critical to building and scaling SAP-native GenAI platforms, specifically SAP Joule and SAP intelligent automation services that drive operational excellence across ZoomInfo's enterprise systems. We are seeking an SAP BRIM Functional Lead to drive our subscription billing transformation, revenue recognition automation, and financial close optimization using SAP's advanced revenue management solutions and SAP Joule GenAI capabilities.
This is a SAP AI/Automation Engineer role requiring deep expertise in SAP subscription billing, revenue accounting, and financial processes with basic technical skills to collaborate with IT teams and configure SAP Joule-powered intelligent automation for billing, revenue, and financial operations.
What You'll do:
- SAP Joule for Revenue Operations: Configure and deploy SAP Joule GenAI capabilities to automate billing queries, revenue recognition analysis, financial close tasks, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting, driving efficiency in revenue and finance operations.
- Strategic Partnership & Vision Translation: Partner with Finance leadership, Revenue Operations, FP&A, and IT teams to translate business vision into actionable SAP BRIM/RAR/RTR solutions that support scalable revenue growth and financial operations excellence.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Revenue, and Record-to-Report processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and SAP Joule-enhanced workflows that deliver measurable business value.
- Revenue & Billing Use Case Discovery: Lead discovery sessions with Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, and Accounting teams to identify and prioritize GenAI use cases for billing automation, revenue analytics, and financial close optimization.
- Change Management & Adoption: Develop change management strategies, create training materials for Finance and Revenue teams, conduct workshops on SAP BRIM/RAR functionality and SAP Joule capabilities, and drive user adoption.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs for billing accuracy, revenue recognition timeliness, financial close cycle time, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO); implement SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards for revenue operations monitoring and executive reporting.
- Strategic Partnership & SAP GenAI Vision: Partner with SAP product managers, SAP architects, data science, and security leaders to translate SAP AI vision and direction into actionable plans for the scalable, responsible adoption of SAP GenAI technologies.
- SAP Intelligent Agent Development: Oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP-centric cross-functional projects, including SAP Joule intelligent agents, SAP AI-assisted workflows, and SAP self-service automation frameworks.
- Responsible SAP AI Standards: Help develop and enforce technical standards for responsible AI use, security, and privacy within SAP AI systems, aligned with SAP's AI ethics framework.
- SAP Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive SAP technical documentation and share SAP knowledge across the engineering organization.
What you bring:
- Hands-on experience implementing SAP Joule for Finance or Revenue Operations use cases
- SAP certification in BRIM, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (formerly RAR Add-On)
- Experience with complex revenue scenarios: multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, contract modifications, milestone billing
- Background in SaaS, subscription, or technology company billing and revenue operations
- Understanding of CPQ tools (Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ) and Quote-to-Cash processes
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite or middleware tools (Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) for BRIM integrations
