The Team:
The Platform Engineering team is responsible for delivering high quality technical support across a broad suite of products spanning multiple business segments within the Risk & Valuation Services business line. The team works closely with a highly skilled Client Services organization and core project teams to diagnose and resolve client issues, as well as to continuously enhance and stabilize the platform.
In addition to operational support, the Platform Engineering team owns and maintains the organization’s cloud hosted applications and is actively involved in cloud engineering activities, including the design, implementation, optimization, and reliability of cloud infrastructure. Through these combined responsibilities, the team ensures consistent service quality, platform robustness, and a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a seasoned professional to:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support development teams and business applications across multiple environments
- Develop and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable software delivery while maintaining security and compliance standards
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled infrastructure deployments
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using managed container platforms to ensure high availability and scalability
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across cloud resources through monitoring, rightsizing, and implementing automated scaling solutions to reduce operational expenses
- Collaborate with development teams to provide platform services, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and enable self-service capabilities for faster development cycles
- Partner with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices, compliance requirements, and automated security scanning throughout the infrastructure lifecycle
- Deliver all aspects of production support for various applications along with select third-party vendor products including incident resolution or proactive mitigation, change and problem management; ensure compliance to all agreed SLAs and requirements
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automated solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal resource utilization
- Drive adoption of best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud environments
- Perform a variety of tasks including coordinating resources and stakeholders, planning and setting milestones, assigning responsibilities and monitoring, and summarizing/communicating progress and status
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Act as an SME and independently handle client issues and incident escalations
What We’re Looking For:
Someone with 11+ years of overall industry experience, including hands-on experience in:
- Cloud technologies such as AWS and managed container platforms
- CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab, and cloud networking
- Oracle, PL/SQL queries, Linux/Unix shell scripting, PowerShell scripting (or Python)
- Strong experience with containerization technologies and managed container orchestration platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Open-minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to drive projects to success
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to represent complex technical issues/concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to learn and adapt
- Ability to work with senior technology leaders to define scope, derive agreements, and track progress
