Agoda’s Legal team is well suited to take on the challenges presented, adopting a proactive mindset to tackle challenges and solve problems. We are quick on our feet, decisive, and collaborate with multiple departments. The FinTech Legal team is a growing group of eight specialist lawyers supporting an ambitious B2C payments initiative. We provide end-to-end legal support across product design, commercial structuring, and operational rollout, working closely with the Regulatory & Licensing sub-team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy high-impact, hands-on work in an entrepreneurial environment, and who can balance innovative product advice with regulatory and compliance rigor.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Counsel, FinTech & Payments to join our team and lead legal efforts for a strategic payments product. You will advise on product development, commercial arrangements, regulatory compliance, and operational risk—partnering with product, engineering, compliance, and external advisers to bring new payment experiences to market across jurisdictions.
This pivotal role involves navigating the complex landscape of both regulated and non-regulated FinTech and Payment activities and offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic and fast-changing FinTech industry, based in the vibrant city of Bangkok or Singapore, and contribute to Agoda’s growth and success.
