Job Description
We are seeking a Product Manager equipped with the skills to navigate the intersection of AI and presentation design. We’re building an agent that is your Copilot in crafting your next presentation or updating slides in preparation for a monthly review. A strong background in crafting visual content is important to success in this role. As a product manager working on AI at Microsoft, you will help define success metrics, iterate based on customer feedback and product data, and drive execution for a scoped area of the PowerPoint Agent experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners including engineering, applied science, and design to spec, build, and improve capabilities that make PowerPoint creation and iteration faster and easier for customers.

Responsibilities
- Drive execution and iteration for a defined set of features and capabilities within the PowerPoint Agent roadmap.
- Identify user pain points and opportunities by analyzing customer feedback, product data, and research insights, and translate them into clear requirements.
- Partner with engineering, design, and applied science to spec, build, test, and refine AI-driven experiences.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly experiences that empower PowerPoint users.
- Define and track success metrics for your area; monitor product performance and drive improvements based on results.
- Follow privacy, security, and responsible AI guidelines in product decisions and execution.
- Advocate for the user and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders to deliver customer-driven decisions.
- 2+ years of data-driven product development and decision making, including defining success metrics and learning from experiments and customer signals.
- 2+ years of developing features informed by interaction design principles and user research, translating insights into practical solutions.
- Experience (or strong interest) in building AI or machine learning features or products, including large language models or conversational/agent experiences.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; experience with Microsoft PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
- Demonstrated ability to apply visual storytelling principles (layout, typography, and structure) to create clear, effective slides or documents.
- Familiarity with usability testing techniques that support iterative product development.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
