About the Role

We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Merchant Strategy & Operations, Merchant Growth & Profitability to shape the vision and execution of DoorDash’s product adoption experience. In this role, you’ll design a merchant-first approach to Sales and Product GTM, optimizing for merchant objectives.  You’ll match deep customer empathy with analytical rigor to uncover insights, reduce friction, and design strategies to up-level the merchant adoption experience in partnership with our Sales and Product teams. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive impact across product, engineering, sales, and operations.

You’re Excited About this Opportunity because you will…

  • Develop and build the critical tools that our merchants need to understand the best DoorDash products to grow their businesses profitability
  • Have game-changing impact on our merchants’ experience with DoorDash by streamlining communications across Sales, Product, and Marketing channels
  • Strategize – From first principles, you’ll develop the optimal strategy for best serving our customers, developing the playbooks for scale
  • Analyze. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data.
  • Lead and collaborate. You’ll work with a cross-functional team, including sales, marketing, design, product, engineering, analytics, and operations to build this experience.

We’re Excited About You because…

  • You have 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, product management, product operations or a related field
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives—written, verbal, and visual
  • You demonstrate bias to action and agility – you move quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No job is beneath you and you lead from the front.
  • You solve analytical problems quickly, and are experienced in SQL and/or Excel
  • You are an owner, meaning you take responsibility for outcomes, have experience being in the driver’s seat, and want to shape the vision and direction of the company
  • You have strong business acumen—assessing risks, opportunities, and trade-offs to support short-term needs and long-term goals
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • You're comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and problem-solving. You should be actively exploring and applying AI in your day-to-day work, bringing a beginner’s mindset and curiosity as you continuously learn and adapt alongside evolving technology.

We expect this position to be filled by 5/10/2026.
